GoMO

This is an event kick off for Google trying to get websites to go mobile for hand held devices and other mobile devices. Yes, Google is doing an event kick of in Mobile, AL. The like the name of the city and just so happens to go with the event. It is too help local business to go mobile for free! So if your a business check it out. They have employed the local ad agency Red Square to promote and publicize the event. Which I think they have done a good job on. Here is a link to the GoMo website to get more info on GoMo

Led Cube

Ok sorry, my inner geek is showing…saw this a few weeks back on LifeHacker and wanted too post it. I thought this would be a great way to give people nausea and or give seizures--just kidding, that would not be very nice. Actually there is a ton of websites and info on to do this project. Below is the a small version from the people at Make. Also have a link to a large on Instructables.com Led Cube 8x8x8. It seems that the large one may take a few weeks worth of work, but would be well worth the bragging rights. Watch the demo video below before the Make video so you can see the potential in the project.

Stars Wars Geekdom Redefined

Lego, I think have let go of their minds, by creating the ultimate Millennium Falcon™! It has over 5000 pieces and you need a masters to follow the directions. I guess, I can use it to make myself feel better about my job. I feel for poor guy/gal that had to illustrate the assambly booklet. I always enjoyed the instructions that came with legos sets, I guess this set comes with of dvd instructions. Scary!! I must say hats off to the Lego designers this is a true accomplishment. I wonder if Lego has in house stress managers/consolers, I would had lost it. The price tag is nothing to joke at either $499.99. The pictures are from the Lego site, here is the link: http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10179&cn=240
